Abstract
This workshop introduces UTokyo faculty, staff, and students who are interested in climate change to the innovative tool for climate education called “Climate Fresk”: an immersive game in which one can get a more complete picture of the phenomenon by building cause-and-effect relationships. It is based on the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports – the same reports that inform global political and economic decision-making at the highest level. The Climate Fresk is suitable for teaching the complex processes of climate change in an accessible and interesting way to people of all educational and professional backgrounds..
このワークショップでは、気候変動に関心のある東京大学の教職員・学生に、革新的気候教育ツール「クライメート・フレスク」という、因果関係を構築することで現象の全体像を把握できる没入型ゲームを紹介します。この気候教育ツールは、世界の政治・経済に関する最高レベルの意思決定に情報を提供している気候変動に関する政府間パネル（IPCC）の報告書に基づいています。クライメート・フレスクは、気候変動の複雑なプロセスを、あらゆる教育的および専門的な背景を持つ人々にわかりやすく興味深い方法で教えることを可能にします。
