Qualifications & requirements:

• Self-Driven; Exceptional Communication Skills; Attention to Detail;
• Enthusiastic and Reliable; Responsive to emails and texts; Abides BY deadlines
• Interest in education and international programs
• English and/or Japanese proficiency
• Knowledge of Canva and preferably adobe design programs
• Design & creativity skills
• Experience designing posters and media

Job Duties

• Perform clerical duties
• Design and draft posters, brochures, etc.
• Translate Japanese/ English short texts and event descriptions

• Payment 1120JPY/hour

GFD Higher Education Library OPEN!

We are thrilled to announce that this week saw the official opening of our brand new higher education library at the GFD Room located at KIBER 313. The library aims at offering professors the chance to read the latest books on teaching and learning, as well as diversity in higher education and specific teaching techniques and tools.  

To visit the library please check GFD’s business hours published every week here. All professors are welcome whether it be to browse or borrow. You can also access our catalog here, to reserve books in advance please first register here, then we will send you instructions.

GFD Equipment Library Open!

We are thrilled to announce that we have started to lend equipment to support professors during the transition to in-person classes and hybrid environments. 

To borrow equipment for a short period of time  please follow the steps below:

1. Browse available items here.
2. Book an item by clicking on “select” button and select the date and time you want to reserve. Each loan is for a period of 4 hours. 
3. Input your information, name, email, and phone number are required, to input a phone number omit the initial zero, like this 70-xxxx-xxxx
4. Wait for email instructions to know when to pick up the equipment.

To enquire about the equipment come to GFD room during bussiness hours published every week here. All professors are welcome to use this library whether it be to browse or borrow.
